cigAIRet

What do you think about a low cost airline (I love airlines), called cigAIRet, with only one purpose:
to bring smokers once a week from EU-countries with very high cigaret prices (like UK) to countries with extrem low cigaret prices (like portugal).
The advantage for the "passenger" is simple: he will be able to day-trip and save money in spite of everything!

cigairet
as a smoker i definitely believe in your idea and in the succes of your proposal.
what do you think are the starting costs of your project? if you reach a field on the gameboard i would buy asset slips of your company!!
Well, normal trading
Well, normal trading restrictions would still apply to your airline, wouldn't they?
Afaik for example if you buy cigarettes in poland or hungary where they are cheaper then in, say Germany (or the UK for that matter) you are only allowed to bring a maximum of one package (with 20 packs or so) per person, and I think this applys throughout EU-Countries, Portugal too.
difference between "old" and "new EU countries
I think there is a difference. For example you are allowed to bring 400 cigarettes from "new" EU countries zo UK for example but you are allowed to "import" 800 cigarettes from portugal, where cigarettes are nearly as cheap as in eastern europe.
I think that is true. BUT that doesn´t mean that the model of cigairet will work ;)
